Overlooking a rugged canyon in Yakama, this contemporary home is anchored to the site with large sandstone walls arranged in a cross-axial pattern punctuated by a tall entry tower. This entry tower creates the focal point for the home with the various spaces radiating in all four directions in a series of volumes which cling to the stone walls and weave the home into the landscape. The asymmetrical roof shapes create a rolling undulating composition of forms which blend with surrounding hills.
